The logo and it’s symbolism
The logo the Napoleon Reef, Walang & Glanmire Residents Association was designed by local resident Christine Bailey. It was one of a number of designs that were submitted for consideration shortly after the Association was established in 2015. This design was selected by the committee as being most representative of our area and the Association’s mission statement.
Red/Green Bird/Leaf represents the importance of the natural environment of our area: the flora and fauna together with the inter-dependence and support infrastructures of rock, soil, water, landform and air quality
Yellow disc represents the sun and the long established culture of the Wiradjuri, the original owners of this country
Two curved tail feathers represent over 200 years of European settlement, which principally involved farming and mining.
